Reciting “Rabbana Atina…” In Salah After Durud Ibrahim

QA-ID-0070

QUESTION

In Salah after Durood Ibrahim, is it permissable to recite:
Allahuma rabbana atina fidunya, wa filakhrita hasan waqina athabannar
Before finishing Salah?

ANSWER

After reciting Durūd Ibrāhīm (al-salāt al-Ibrāhīmiyyah) in salāh, it is permissible to recite any supplication from the Qur’ān and Sunnah. Since this particular du’ā is found in the Qur’ān, it can be recited as du’ā after Durūd Ibrāhīm.

And Allāh Knows Best
